Countless field trips to the Barrio Pilsen neighborhood and the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago brought smiles to my students as they realized Spanish is REAL! We made calaveras, ofrendas, and pan de muerto, laughed, learned, and celebrated Día de Muertos!
